The Discover student card - Monogram Collection lets you sport a card with your own initials emblazoned on the face of it. Enough to impress your friends? Maybe. But what should impress you is rather the details of the card, such as:
- No annual fee
- Six month introductory APR of 0%
- Free balance transfers for up to one year
- Basic APR of 10.99% if your credit is good
Additionally, you get a cashback of 5% on purchases made in specific categories that change every once in while. General purchases net you a 1% cashback.
All in all, decent card.

This article is aimed at helping you get a student loan without a co-signer.
So you got accepted at that fancy school, did you? Congratulations! And now you need to finance your education somehow.
Before you start thinking about loans, you should investigate every other avenue that may be available to you. There are many different types of grants and aid that you ought to look at first. Grants are better than loans since you don’t have to pay them back.
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at the FAFSA website. This will let you know what kind of aid you are eligible for.
